The level begins with some Cheep Cheeps and Ball 'n' Chains. Go further and you'll reach a dead end and encounter an On-Off Switch and a text box saying "Xan Bie can be defeated by throwing him in the water". Leave the switch Off, as the level fills with water. Go up, and you'll reach a door. In the next room, a screen border featuring Wendy can be seen, with the level still being filled with water. There are two bosses in this level, so be careful when fighting them.

Xan Bie goes into two phases:
- Surrounding itself with four fireballs.
- Growing a snake-like tail of fireballs and bouncing around the room.
At the end of the first phase, it will turn blue temporarily. Jump on it when it's blue and over the small pool of water in the room to damage it. After doing so three times, a door will appear to Wendy's boss door.
Originates from Super Mario Bros. 3. Wendy will occasionally emerge from the pipe in her room, throw a heart at you, then go back into the pipe and cause hearts to fall from the ceiling. Avoid the hearts and jump on her four times to finish the level.
You will need a blue block. At the room with the door that leads to Xan Bie, pay attention to the current at the left side of the door. Use the block to swim across it, and you'll reach a door. Enter the door, and there's the Orb.
The Chain Chomp's graphics and the ! blocks were taken from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. The background came from Super Mario Bros. 3 while the foreground came from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Xan Bie hails from Seiken Densetsu 3, while Wendy O. Koopa belongs to the Mario series.
